James Woods – Host
James qualified with a Sports Science degree from the prestigious Brunel University in London. After finishing his degree James spent a further year studying nutrition at Roehampton University. James has worked as a personal trainer in the UK, America and Spain. A keen sportsman, James has played rugby in New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and America, and he successfully completed the London Marathon in 2002. James moved to Spain two years ago and has been involved in many forms of media here. He has appeared on Rem Radio as an expert personal trainer and has co presented Living in Spain TV’s Well-being Show.
Amanda Parker – Host
Amanda is a highly respected alternative health practitioner. She is a qualified Reflexologist and has studied anatomy and physiology, holistic and ayurvedic forms of massage and STR techniques. Amanda also teaches stress management and baby massage. Before moving permanently to Spain two years ago, Amanda spent time living in many countries throughout Europe including Greece, Mallorca and mainland Spain. While living in England Amanda had two clinics in London, one in Richmond and one in Kensington. Amanda was the official therapist for the Harlequins Professional Rugby team 2003-2005 and had a host of high profile clients. Since moving to Spain Amanda, a fluent Spanish speaker, has become a regular guest on REM Radio, where she features as the alternative health expert. Amanda has also co presented the Well-being Show on Living in Spain TV.
Nicola Drabble – Dietitian
A registered dietitian for 8 years, Nicola graduated in South Africa after completing a four year degree in dietetics. As a registered dietitian, she treats a range of medical conditions with dietary therapy, promotes nutritional wellbeing, and aids in preventing nutrition-related problems. Her work is informed by the latest research which she compliments with her certificate in exercise science. Nicola has worked in both private and NHS hospitals in the UK, practicing as a clinical and community
dietitian. She is now a freelance dietitian based on the Costa del Sol offering clients private consultations, tailored to their needs, as well as group and corporate education. Nicola is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the British Dietetic Association and Asociacion Espanola de Dietistas-Nutricionistas.

Stan Blair – Fitness Trainer Stan began his career in the fitness industry in 1994. He successfully ran various fitness establishments before branching out to set up S.L.I.C. Fitness which initially involved the management of various corporate facilities in the City. In May 2000 Stan joined the fitness team at London's prestigious Harbour Club on a freelance basis, teaching classes and training clients one to one. Stan has a reputation as being a versatile trainer with bags of enthusiasm and is keen to bring a sense of achievement and success to all his clients. Stan has trained in Pilates and is a Level 1 C. H. E. K Practitioner (Corrective High performance Kineisiology). He has worked with Jemima Khan, Sinita, and ex England cricketer Graham Thorpe.
Stan has played a number of sports to a high standard and boasts tennis and golf as his most recent sporting passions. Stan's areas of expertise are in weight management, strength and stability training and lifestyle coaching.

John Brierley – Fitness Trainer
Former Senior Lecturer in Sport Sciences at Brunel University London, John’s main
teaching commitments are in coaching science, training theory and sports psychology. He has had the privilege to teach 2 Olympic, 2 World and 3 Commonwealth Games Champions, and was the Overall Team Manager for the England Athletics team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester which won 29 medals and finished ahead of Australia. John’s expertise has seen him work with six different professional football clubs including West Ham and Birmingham City. He has also worked with the England Women’s Hockey team, England Under 21 Rugby Union squad and London Irish RFC 1st Team. He currently works on the Costa del Sol, with
international tennis players, national standard karters, goalkeepers in professional football and individual players from local youth sides.
